Do we judge this film by the stratospheric expectations? (In which case, it would have to end war and famine.) By its own goals? Those seem high, too, and the film falls short. As two hours of entertainment? If so, there's a lot to praise there, especially the visuals. If only the script was as masterful as the director ...
